Long Train Ride

Emily K. Hong is a postdoctoral research fellow at Centre for Research in Self- and Identity (CRSI), University of Southampton and Center for Happiness Studies, Seoul National University. Emily's research interests include self, identity, and emotion across time. She is particularly interested in how feeling connected to one's past self (past self-continuity), future self (future self-continuity), and past and future selves (global self-continuity) uniquely contribute to people's judgment and decision making and well-being. In her recent projects, she has been expanding the domains in which self-continuity enhances the personal, social, and societal well-being.
